| Phones |
Daniel and i were talking about phones last night, and can you imagine a Nokia 8250 used to cost like S$300?
I got my first phone when i was in Secondary 2. Could have gotten one earlier but the people in United States weren't that advanced.
My first ever phone was a really stupid Motorola one.
and its a free phone from POSB. i can't imagine how happy i was to use this. because most of my friends had...
this one.
so mine was pretty small and cute then!
My second phone was really pretty and small! i still miss it thou.
i want to buy it back again!!! :(
3rd phone.
my 4th one had the greatest impact on me. because it was my FIRST EVER colour phone!
but mine was a white one thou.
man, i used this until the housing was so busted that no one wanted to accept my trade in.
5th was my first camera phone.
and yes, as you can see, i was a VERY STRONG believer in Nokia until the buggy 3G Nseries came out.
during the Olevels, samsung seemed to be the really IN thing because of their lady-designs.
so i got this. not many people had it thou.
but now, it seems like samsung lost their designing spark.
so i changed to Sony Ericssion.
k750i!!! ahhh! this phone i like! because it was the first phone i bought with my own moolah. and i still have it! as my spare phone :D
and finally,
the latest baby. the k810i.
so in total, i changed 8 phones in my 18 years of life.
many? i dont think so.
i wish i can use a single phone for a lifetime.
but sadly, technology is always advancing.
and humans will be forever tempted to upgrade.
the longest i've managed to stay loyal to a phone is 1year 1month.
which was my trusty k750i.
if thats not power, i dont know what is. |

| Harry Pottor Saga |
 My sisters have finally finished reading the new Harry Potter book so it's my turn, but I'm still contemplating whether i should start on it. Ever since Book Seven came out, each day of delay leads to more HP Spoilers coming at me.
For those of you who have yet to read it, i recommend you NOT to blog-hop at the meantime. After a mere 3-day delay, I've known at least half the book thanks to blog spoilers. So now that the book is free and thrown at me, I'm not as excited as i was before.
The other part of me is scared i become too addicted to it i forget to sleep, shit or worse of all, forget the deadlines of my neverending assignments and common tests.
Yeah yeah. I'm thinking too far already aren't I. I think i should just heck and get a start on Book Seven.
On a different note,

But it looks exactly like the actual one doesn't it?

| A little more Hope |
baby finally came over for dinner, after about a year.
after certain incidents, my mom was not so in favor of daniel.
so he refrained from coming over anymore.
but then i thought, they should know more and maybe just get along with my boyfriend.
i mean, after all, we've been together for 2years plus already.
and it turned out better than i expected.
but we had the worse dinner actually.
because all of us were talking about the recent China Food scares during dinner.
monkey brains... rats..... and so much more.
mom and daniel went on and on about cars, speed and licences.
my sisters took this chance to extort school donations from daniel.
it was all so funny.
and everyone was sincerely having fun.

| NO ONE snatches my cab |
Suay was the first word i said to myself as i tapped out of my side gate earlier this afternoon. I was standing at the side of the road, flagging a cab. this middle aged lady with a 5-6year toddler crossed the road and stood 1.5 metre infront of me. and they started to flag a cab.

i have never seen so inconsiderate people in my entire life! i glared at the stupid lady. and all she did was said " We late already, girl. We very LATE already" to the TODDLER, while stealing glances at me. Fucking HINTING to me that she's oh-so-late and i'm suppose to give way to her.
NO FUCKING WAY OLD LADY!
i mean, if you're really in a rush and if you came and ASKED ME if you could take my cab, i would GLADLY give it to you and let you stand infront of me. but she was fucking rude to just snatch my position and "hinted" that she was late.
i said "BITCH" really loudly and she turned. Daniel was on the phone at that time and i started telling him about that stupid lady. she heard everything of course, considering the fact that she was so thick-skinned to stand so close to me to steal my cab.
But i didn't give a shit. I had to MAKE DAMN SURE i get a cab before the stupid lady did. so i walked forward. as i got rode off in the cab, i passed the stupid lady, and i frowned damn hard at her, and surprisingly, she was looking at me.
Daniel said that a really bustard thing to do was to flash her the middle finger as i went pass, but i thought of the little girl with the stupid lady. and how it would be a bad influence to her. Well, her stupid mother has given her more than enough bad examples already.
these people ought to die you know, really. |

| Life and Death |
 Have you ever wondered why human beings were brought to Earth for?
We became the smartest animals and created technology and buildings to make our lives easier. We study to develop our brains and get jobs. we work till we retire and wait for death. And its a whole complete cycle.
why be born to live till you're old enough to pass on? or until something tragic happens?
sometimes i can't help but think, why am i living for? you can graduate and work till you die. and most of the money you earn you don't get to spend anyway. it would be passed on and on to younger generations, thats if you left enough money behind.
We die because our bodies stop working. This happens because of traumatic injury, invasion (disease), or simply running down from the aging caused by programmed cell death. Perhaps medicine will be able to overcome this someday, and human beings will have the chance to have immortal bodies.
Meanwhile, i will still be finding an answer to why and what we're living for if we're all gonna die eventually. |

| BUMBLE BEE! |
 yeah i know i'm a little late in the "Bumble Bee" craze.
Yong got a few staff complimentary passes so yong, lizhi, me and dan went to watch Transformers yesterday. i've been hearing everyone saying about how nice the show is. but never really got the chance to catch it.
yong really made cheapskates out of us. since he's a staff at AMK Hub Cathay, he can get tons of food free. so we had like:
1. 4 large drinks
2. a popcorn
3. some chicken drumlets thingy (which was superb i tell you!)
4. fish and chips
5. 2 nachos
worth $33 over! we were bloated like fuck can!!!
so it was lizhi's 3rd time and dan's 2nd time watching. but none of them really did mind rewatching. because the show's GREAT.
but i have to admit. i have a phobia for robots. and after the show when we walk to the bus stop, i felt shivers. like whenever i hear a car's engine sound.... i got really scared!
yes yes yes! i find Transformers scary :P
and oh. yong, lizhi, jiew meng and i went to AMK Hub Subway for lunch. and i left my wallet there!
and i only noticed it missing when we got back to school! so yong tried to get hold of Subway AMKhub. and they were really rude people. they said "its here its here" and then hung up on yong. like wtf. but at least they kept it for me.
yong was telling me how he lost his wallet and some guy our age came up to his doorstep and returned it to him. like how lucky can you get???

assignments are piling up like never before.
with 9 modules, i doubt i can last long in this. |
